From a small team of passionate creators and educators, AVGC XR Solutions was built to bridge the gap between imagination and industry — cultivating the talent that powers tomorrow's Orange Economy.
How it began
Built at the intersection of policy, purpose, and creative technology.
AVGC XR Solutions is a product of AVGCXR Design Tech Solutions (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., founded by Durgesh Pandey — a practitioner, educator, and advocate for India's creative economy. The founding vision was clear and deliberate: India's AVGC-XR sector had the talent, the scale, and the global appetite — what it lacked was an organization committed to building Indian intellectual property from the ground up. AVGC XR Solutions was established to fill exactly that gap.
Rooted in India's national AVGC-XR policy framework, AVGC XR Solutions was built to translate policy ambition into real creative output. But the vision never stopped at metro cities or established institutions. From day one, the mission extended deeper — into India's Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4 cities, where raw talent has always existed but opportunity has not. India's most powerful creative voices do not all come from Mumbai or Bangalore. They come from small towns in Uttar Pradesh, from tribal art traditions in Jharkhand, from folk storytelling cultures in Rajasthan, from the northeast's visual vocabulary that the world has barely seen. AVGC XR Solutions exists to find that talent, train it, connect it to industry, and give it a stage. Every workshop conducted in a smaller city, every academic partnership with a regional college, every scholar supported through research — each one is a deliberate act of building India's creative economy from within, not from the top down.
Our goal is not just creative excellence — it is employment generation, economic inclusion, and cultural assertion. We believe that when a young animator from Varanasi creates an IP that sells globally, or when a game designer from Indore builds something rooted in Indian mythology, India wins twice — economically and culturally.
OToday, AVGC XR Solutions stands as a confluence of four powerful streams: Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality — each one a discipline we practice, teach, research, and push forward every single day. What began as a studio and training initiative has grown into a holistic ecosystem spanning production, academic partnerships, applied research, and intellectual property development — all unified by one founding belief: India's creative future must be built by Indians, owned by Indians, and celebrated by the world.
Founder Message
Founder and director Mr. Durgesh Pandey is an interactive media designer, researcher, and educator with over a decade of work at the intersection of creative technology, academic institution-building, and immersive media production. He is the founder of AVGCXR Design Tech Solutions (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. and the driving force behind AVGC XR Solutions — an organization built not just as a business, but as a long-term commitment to India's creative future.
Durgesh holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Communication Design from Noida International University, a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Animation and Multimedia Technology from Birla Institute of Technology Mesra and IK Gujral Punjab Technical University respectively — alongside specialized certifications in AR & VR Design and 3D production. His academic journey reflects a rare intellectual range — from traditional art and digital design to immersive technology and applied research. Beyond his formal qualifications, Durgesh carries a deep and active interest in cognitive science and neuroscience — particularly in how the human brain processes visual information, builds spatial memory, and responds to immersive environments. This interest is not peripheral to his work; it quietly shapes everything from how he designs learning experiences to how he thinks about the future of XR as a medium that operates directly on human perception and cognition — a frontier that the AVGC-XR industry is only beginning to seriously explore.
Professionally, Durgesh has worked across academia, government communication, defence research, and the creative industry — bringing a breadth of real-world experience that informs every dimension of AVGC XR Solutions. He has contributed to national-level government campaigns, collaborated with defence research institutions on visualization projects, and built creative pipelines across production and digital media. In parallel, he has spent years in higher education — teaching, mentoring, designing curricula, and building lab infrastructure at some of India's well-known universities. His work in academia has always gone beyond the classroom: he has shaped degree programmes, established creative labs from scratch, and served as an external examiner and workshop facilitator across institutions — contributing directly to how India's next generation of AVGC-XR professionals is trained. In 2023, he was selected as a member of the AICTE Game Design Model Curriculum Committee — a national recognition of his expertise and a direct contribution to how India defines game design education at the policy level. He is also a nationally recognized artist, having received the National Painting Award from the Camlin Art Foundation and been selected for the AIFACS National Digital Painting exhibition. Durgesh founded AVGC XR Solutions with a conviction that India's Tier 2, 3, and 4 cities hold creative potential that the industry has consistently overlooked. His work — across classrooms, research, government projects, and production — has always moved toward one goal: building a creative economy that is inclusive, original, and unmistakably Indian
